pineapple presents: kitchen confidence

Cooking, like confidence, is less a skill set and more of a mind-set--both are ways of thinking, problem solving and approaching the world whether applied to a dish or our dreams

This is a kitchen and life philosophy for Alison Cayne, NYC-based entrepreneur and visionary behind Haven’s Kitchen Cafe & Cooking School, who just published her first cookbook “The Haven’s Kitchen Cooking School”

pineapple DC is excited to welcome Alison to DC as part of our first ever breakfast and conversation on ~ kitchen confidence ~ along with two other experts on the matter: Amy Brandwein, James-Beard nominated chef and owner of Centrolina, and our amazing moderator, Bonnie Benwick, deputy food and recipe editor of The Washington Post

We’ll be serving up delicious breakfast made by Centrolina, coffee/tea, and tips and tricks on everything from mastering any recipe to building your own business. Whether a professional chef, aspiring home cook, food editor or entrepreneur, we can all build our confidence in the kitchen and in our lives

~we're teaming up with Girls Night In at this event! they're all about wellness and community and in support of starting your day off right with a delicious breakfast & conversation ~
