Bossed Up Power Hour with Women’s Information Network (WIN) in Washington, DC
I had a blast at the April Power Hour at Local 16 on U Street! It was so nice to hang with boss ladies and see my fellow L.A.B ladies Christy Batta & Eva Jannotta!
BossedUp always keeps us well fed while networking, this time it was delicious rounds of a variety of hot pizzas that were replenished throughout the evening, nice touch! I particularly enjoyed the Local 16 Happy Hour cocktail called The Anti-Tox (haha) which had pomegranate juice, vodka, and champagne...soooo refreshing!
We had a great intro by LeAndria Streeter, a BossedUp Bootcamp alum who manifested her dream job, a welcome by Women’s Information Network, and an introduction to DC Diary! I went into the recording area and thought they had some great questions about life in DC and being a woman in business. To those who catch the recording later one, I was hiccuping because I was sick, NOT because I was drunk 🤦🏽♀️ #embarrassing
At the event the BossedUp Bootcamp was being promoted and I'm SO excited to attend for the first time next weekend! I'll be sure to post a recap with highlights on, what I'm sure will be, the unforgettable weekend!

DC Diary: For this very special Power Hour, we’re excited to team up with DC Diary, a podcast about the real, honest stories of those working in the nation’s capital. A recording booth will be set up for you to record your story and share how you came to be a Washingtonian. If you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry, we’ll have prompts. These stories will then be used in a future DC Diary podcast, the first episode of which is available here.
We’re here to help you craft a happy, healthy, and sustainable career path with award-winning personal and professional development training.
